Common Questions

What's the difference between the plans?
Start ($59) suits an owner-operator: 2 office users and 1 van (team). Pro ($89) adds billing automation, replying to customers and the rest of the automated alerts, with 3 users and 2 vans. Crew ($199) has unlimited users and vans. Employees, customers and addresses are unlimited on every plan.
What happens after the 14-day free trial?
You'll be prompted to pick a plan and enter a card — from $59/month. If you decide not to continue, your account simply stops — no charges, no cancellation fees. We don't auto-charge without you knowing it's coming.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No. Create your account and get full access for 14 days with no card required. You only enter payment info if you decide to keep going after the trial.
How many users can I add?
Office users: 2 on Start, 3 on Pro, unlimited on Crew. Groomers and bathers using the groomer app are unlimited on every plan, and so are customers and addresses — you are never billed per user or per customer.
Where does it work?
PetGroomBossPro works in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK, and bills your customers in their own currency. The texts included in every plan cover the US and Canada.
What's the texting pricing?
In the US and Canada, Start includes 500 texts a month, Pro 1,000, and Crew 2,000 — sent and received. A text is 160 characters; a longer one counts as two. If you go over, you can add blocks of 500 for $15 each.
How does auto-routing pricing work?
Start includes 50 auto-routes a month, Pro 100, and Crew 1,000. Go over and 250 more are added automatically for $5 - your office is never stopped mid-day. Smart Lasso map selections are unlimited on every plan.
Are there any contracts or annual commitments?
None. Month to month, always. Cancel anytime from your account settings.
Does this work for my kind of grooming business?
Yes. Full grooms, bath & brush, puppy intro grooms, cat grooms, nail trims and de-shedding all run the same way — a service, every pet at the address with breed, size, coat and cut notes, the add-ons, a price and a set time on the schedule. Can I bill a senior living community or a daycare once a month?
Yes. Set each senior living community, doggy daycare or apartment community up as a Monthly account. Every visit for that account goes on ONE statement each month.
How do repeat appointments every 4, 6 or 8 weeks work?
Each regular keeps a set time — the same weekday, the same time and the same van. On Pending Jobs, click + Add Recurring Grooming, pick the home, the service and price, the frequency (every week, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 weeks, monthly or custom days), the first date, the time and the van. Every visit is written up front and waits on Pending Jobs with its day, time and van until you confirm it in one click, then shows on the schedule and that van’s app, with every pet carried onto each one — "Biscuit · Goldendoodle · Medium · Curly / Doodle · #7 blade body, teddy bear face" — and the card on file can be charged when each groom is completed. From the Recurring Clients list you can change, extend or stop a series.
Can I import my existing customers?
Yes. Bring your customer list over from a spreadsheet or a CSV export from your old software on any plan.
